18) No I do not think that incineration is the right method to get rid of glass and metal. They should be recycled.
19) The plastic liners and layers of clay create a solid layer in the landfill that prevents toxins from coming out of the landfill and polluting its surroundings.
20) Compost is made up of dead plant and animal matter. Compost is nutrient rich and that helps plants grow, it also lowers the amount of waste in a landfill.
21) The Superfund Act gives the EPA the power to sue the owners of hazardous waste sites who had illegally dumped waste the Act allows the EPA to make sure everything is disposed of properly.
